Join us for Family Camp at Annual Sessions.

Annual Sessions is an important event each year within Northwest Yearly Meeting. It is our hope that every local church will be able to actively participate in this event as a way to build community among our family of churches, foster spiritual growth, and connect with other Friends throughout the area and beyond. That is why we are excited to offer a way to enhance the experience of a family attending Annual Sessions in partnership with Camp Tilikum!  Families will have the opportunity to stay in the Lodge at Camp Tilikum, school-age kids will be able to attend a week at camp, and after Annual Sessions conclude on Tuesday evening, or Wednesday morning (depending on if you have any meetings), while kids are continuing to attend Camp Tilikum Day Camp or QUEST Camp the parents are invited to take some quiet time for themselves the rest of Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Family Camp dates

July 21-26, 2024

How it works

Sunday afternoon thru Friday afternoon – Family Camp runs.

Sunday Night – Kick-Off banquet at George Fox University

Monday and Tuesday – Children head off to Day Camp or QUEST Camp and parents and high schoolers head into George Fox University to attend Annual Sessions and Kaleo at Annual Session (our Youth Connect program this year will be led by Kaleo Academy and customized to fit Northwest Yearly Meeting’s schedule) .

Wednesday thru Friday – Children entering grades 1-8 will attend Day Camp or QUEST Camp Monday thru Friday from 8:45AM – 3:45PM. Parents and high schoolers are invited to take some quiet time for themselves.

There will be evening activities planned for families that could include a quiet canoe ride or an evening campfire on Lake Tilikum.
