Peace with Justice — Joe Lynne Rader

A very young Samuel was left by his faithful parents, in the temple with Eli, and as a child Samuel ministered to the Lord (1 Samuel 2:11). Imagine that!

When my nephew was less than 2 years old and not yet speaking clearly he told us, “Jesus has owies.”  He put his hands on his head, then he put both hands out in front turning them over and over and said, “all gone!” We were in awe watching this tiny child share a special message from the Lord.

Are you watching for that moment—that very special moment—when Jesus shines his light through you?

I met an older man in Jerusalem. He approached me, held my hands, looked into my eyes, and said he was praying for me and God had a special blessing for me. Though this man was a stranger, at that very moment I knew I was in the place God planned for me to be—at the moment he arranged, and in the company of his messenger. I continue to pray for this stranger and to thank Jesus for his very special blessing.

May each of us seek daily to be the light of Christ that makes a difference with each moment as he has planned.
