The Fountain of God remains throughout the generations. Once the believers find the Fountain of God, it will always be there for them. Whenever they think they seem to be turning away from the Lord because of troubles in their hearts, this Fountain reminds them about the love and peace of God in their souls. One day at this Fountain they were healed, and entered into the Kingdom of God. Romans 14:17 says, “For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Then how could a believer ignore the Kingdom of God, as she/he presses toward the ultimate love that is God?
Quakers who are living in the Kingdom of God, seek to build and to embrace the inward and outward peace and justice daily. For instance, it is so rewarding for other Friends when believers speak up about social injustice concerns where they live. For them, the Fountain is a source of God’s love to fulfill the will of God and to gain spiritual maturity. Believers who lay their hearts in the sight of God daily, are the ones who abide in the love of God and walk in the Light of Christ. Thus, this Fountain makes miracles in the lives of believers, and through them in the lives of others.
Let’s not forget the Fountain of God, and our deeds may be the channel of invitation to other fellow human beings to come to this Fountain.
