Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends Church (NWYM) is a covenantal community
of evangelical Friends churches that make Jesus Christ known by:

Teaching and obeying the whole gospel as revealed by the
Holy Spirit and recorded in Scripture

Loving and mutually supporting each other

Equipping and releasing people to continue His mission in the world

Grants and Scholarships


Peace Promotion Grant

  • The Peace Grant is meant to build relationships and peace awareness, so we want to see groups of youth and young adults working together.


Local Outreach Grant

  • This grant is intended to assist local churches and ministry points in their community outreach efforts.


Church Matching Scholarship

  • Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends administers a matching scholarship program, in partnership with local churches, for the benefit of traditional undergraduate students attending George Fox University


Share Call

  • The Share Call is a means of enabling the entire Yearly Meeting to be a part of financially assisting a local congregation to complete a building project.


Church Internship Funding

  • This opportunity is offered by the NWYM Board of Leadership Development and Enrichment. It seeks to help fund local meetings looking to hire interns.


George Fox Evangelical Seminary Grants & Scholarships

  • George Fox Evangelical Seminary (GFES) offers several financial assistance programs for its degree-seeking students.

Young Adult Friends (YAF) Grants

  • The NWYM Administrative Council has set aside $15,000 to fund young adult friends’ efforts throughout the yearly meeting.
