MIDWINTER 2012: We Are Free
January 13 – 16, 2012
REGISTRATION IS DUE MONDAY, JANUARY 9!
What is Midwinter? It’s a camp for Northwest Yearly Meeting high school students and their friends in the middle of winter…and… it’s awesome! It’s a chance for students to gather and learn about things close to God’s heart: Freedom to Love, Freedom from Sin, Freedom to Serve.
We are called to be free! Galatians 5:13 — “You my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge in the sinful nature, rather, serve one another in love.”
Location: Metolius Friends Church in Central Oregon (photo left—makes you want to be there!)
Cost: $65 (Free MidWinter T-shirt if registered by January 2, 2011)
Rusty St. Cyr, Director of Spiritual Formation at George Fox University, will be this year’s speaker. Rusty is someone who cares deeply for his community, desiring God’s justice to be realized for all people.
