At Yearly Meeting sessions 2009, Jen and Joel Perez (Newberg Friends) led a workshop introducing the immigration subject, highlighting some myths surrounding this controversial topic, and providing resources for further education. They shared their own journeys as they have begun outreach to immigrants and provided some ideas for involvement.
