We are so grateful and excited that Steve Sherwood, assistant professor for Youth Evangelism and Discipleship at George Fox University, will be joining us as our speaker. He will share helpful and practical tools to help get youth involved in the life of the church, as well as connecting with youth inside and outside of the church walls. Steve’s 26-year background in youth ministry enables him to engage in a variety of academic and community settings. He serves the university’s Spiritual Life Department as a frequent and popular campus chapel speaker. Steve is married to Elizabeth and has two fantastic daughters that keep him on his toes.
Here is some more information on Steve: About Steve Sherwood

Jamie Johnson (Newberg Friends) will be facilitating worship for us. Jamie is married to Erin, with whom he has three wonderfully energetic children. He works at George Fox University as the director of the Friends Leadership Program, associate pastor for Christian Leadership, and is a big fan of running, reading, and watching romantic comedies (okay, also an occasional alien-themed movie, too). He is invested in connecting and developing young leaders within the Friends movement.
Tom and Vicki Stave (Eugene Friends) will be joining as the conference elders—the youth board saw a need for this role, knowing some of you come needing individual conversations around personal issues in your ministries and families. Tom and Vicki have many years working with youth in different capacity, and care deeply for the work youthworkers all are part of. Tom is the presiding clerk for NWYM and Vicki serves on the Board of Youth and Young Adults.
Conference Fees:
Adult registration per person (shared room) – $135
Adult registration (no roommate) – $185
Children 12-17 – $50 per child (this covers all their meals for the weekend, too)
