Northwest Yearly Meeting has had a long commitment to providing spiritual challenge and renewal through camping ministries. In Twin Rocks, we have the oldest camp on the west coast, with our first conference in 1918. Thousands of youth and adults have benefited from attending a camp or retreat. Why don’t you join us?

Camp Tilikum

Camp TilikumCamp Tilikum is a Christian camp and retreat center located near Newberg, Oregon.  As a ministry of George Fox University we sponsor retreats, day camps, adventure camps and senior adult Elderhostels.  Tilikum is an ideal location for guest group retreats, daytime planning sessions, school and church outings and family reunions.

Quaker Cove Junior and Senior High: A camp for Junior and Senior high students, occurring the week after Yearly Meeting. The primary emphasis of this camp is outreach and spiritual growth.

Senior High: This is a week long camp for high school students. It is planned by Southern Idaho churches and takes place in July. This is an evangelical camp emphasizing the spiritual nurturing of students no matter what stage they are in their spiritual journey.

Twin Rocks Friends Camp and Conference CenterTwin Rocks Friends Camp and Conference Center is a year-round facility offering camping for all ages and for special interest groups such as outdoor school, crafters, elderhostels, family retreats, etc. Also part of the Twin Rocks facility is Harbor Villa Retreat Center, located on the beach a mile from the main camp. Harbor Villa includes a youth dorm.

Surfside – Senior High: August 7-13, 2011, $303 ($273 if preregistered by July 22)
Youth completing grades 8-12 this fall have the chance to attend Surfside! Surfside strives to build a strong sense of community among campers through activities and discussion while focusing on themes relevant to today’s youth. Crazy recreation and meaningful worship times round out a week that is sure to inspire and engage youth in attendance. Surfside also includes the Grad Camp experience for recent high school graduates.

Tween Camp – Junior High: July 10-16, 2011, $303 ($273 if preregistered by June 24)
Youth entering grades 7-9 this fall can enjoy an awesome week of fun and fellowship at Tween Camp! It’s a week of laughter, learning and growth that occurs within an environment focused on fun, safety and trust. Campers are encouraged to pursue God in their everyday lives and to live in ways that show God’s love to others.
