Friends Women

Friends Women coordinates women’s groups in the individual churches of the yearly meeting area. Projects include the support of a missionary family on a foreign field and partial support of a family in Northwest Yearly Meeting involved in church planting. It also serves as an information link with the work of Evangelical Friends International. Groups within individual churches also have service projects in their local areas, as well as holding fellowship and support meetings.

This year’s projects have been reduced since we have not met our goals for the past two years. So this year there is only our NWYM needs presented. I did not receive the EFM projects for this year and we can concentrate on our own needs for this time.

Many thanks go to Duane Comfort and Chuck Scott for their great ideas and the time given to this! They both said to “give the ladies our heartfelt THANKS for all they do with the projects. We could not do it without them.” I too, wish to give my thanks to you women who have given so faithfully during the past years. Keep up the good work!
