Hello family and friends!
Today has been another extremely exciting day! After we left the youth hostle this morning we drove to a town called Londonderry in Northern Ireland. There we met a lady named Hilary who is a part of the Quaker meeting there and we had tea at her house in the early afternoon. After tea, Hilary told us about the history of the town and about the wall of Derry. This wall was the original border of the city that was built many many years ago. Once we heard all of the history we went and walked the wall ourselves.
It was interesting to read all of the history signs that they had along the wall explaining certain dates and events that had happened along the wall in the past. Along the wall we had the opportunity to stop and tour the inside of two churches and one cathedral. While walking through one of the churches we had a really neat opportunity of having one of the main choir memebers and also an elder of the church, named William, tell us the history of the church. Then he convinced Josh I. that if he sings a song then he himself will sing for us. Which he did, and he has an amzing voice. It was such a pleasure meeting him and getting to the opportunity to share our trip experience with him.
All-in-all today has been yet again an amzing day. I would also like to thank all you who have helped support us in this amazing journey we had the opportunity to be a part of. All of your prayers are very much appreciated, so thank you!
