The last Sunday of April (29) of 2012, the Evangelical Friends Church in Newberg (Hispanic Church) celebrated its 30 years of existence. 82 people were present with seven guests: the founding pastor Bob Gilmore and his wife (1982-1986), Gerardo Ibarra and his wife, former pastor for 10 years (1986-1996), Mrs. Swan, and the superintendent of the Global Outreach for NWYM who presented two vases of flowers to the church. These flowers were delivered after the services to two sisters of the church who have been very committed to our church in recent years. We had a meal after the service and a cake made from three milks. Family Vera were also invited because German Vera from the Pentecost church of Mcminnville was our special singer. Currently 15 families are to meet in the meeting house weekly. We are a ministry of Newberg Friends Church since 1982, but from 2007 we are an independent monthly meeting in NWYM. God bless all you for your prayers and support on our behalf.
