Looking back…
- Young Adult Friends (YAF) Thank you to all the young adults and those who attended to connect with young adults at our YAF Beach Day to Pacific City, Oregon. We drove out from Newberg Friends Church and enjoyed a day of worshipping through fellowship at the coast.
Looking ahead…
- Youthworkers from across NWYM are invited to our annual Youthworkers’ Training Conference. As life fills up, our spirits can develop spiritual thirst that only Christ can begin to quench. This year we are focusing on the spiritual thirst among our youthworkers. For more information and to register visit nwfriends.org.
- The Bible Quizzing season starts October 15 at Sherwood Friends Community Church. Dave Brown (Sherwood Friends) has agreed again to be the coordinator for this great program. If you have any questions, email Dave at dave.brown@elkay.com or visit nwfriends.org/bible-quizzing.
- Pastoral Transitions Include:
- Roger Button has accepted the call to be chaplain at the Vancouver YMCA beginning mid-September. He will continue to serve at Olympic View through the transition of finding a new pastor.
