WEEK 5: Practicing prayer partnership
Read James 1:2-8
What reason do we have for hope in the midst of trials? While experiencing a trial, what instruction are we given?
Yesterday, our passage challenged us to pray “according to God’s will.” James 1:5 gives us clear direction as to what we are to pray for. In other words, it shows us what kind of prayer God will answer. When you’re in a tough spot, are you more likely to pray for relief or for wisdom?
As you pray with your prayer partner, and as you pray for your needs, your family and your church, why not take some time to ask for God’s wisdom and guidance for each situation?
Pray with your prayer partner today.
If you would ask anything of Jesus today, what would it be? If Jesus would ask anything of you today, what would it be?
