Our 2010 theme we explored:
“Northwest Yearly Meeting is called to be a community of ministers. As we go deeper in our relationship with God we are freed from the hindrances that can distract us from ministry. Together we’ll explore how “fixing our eyes on Jesus” helps us move into a place of unencumbered freedom…freedom to be the people God needs us to be, providing the healing the world desires.”
Scott is the Senior Pastor at Pasadena First Church of the Nazarene (PazNaz) and is a frequent guest speaker in churches, camp meetings, lecture series and college campuses. Scott and Debbie have four children: Caleb, Noah, Jonah and Sophie. They love to vacation together as a family and they participate in many sports and music activities. Scott has a Ph.D. from Fuller Theological Seminary in Theology and Ethics and has contributed to several books, journals and magazines.
Scott spoke Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday night. There are two important questions the Church must always ask: What is God doing in the world? And what does the Church look like that understands what God is doing in the world? How can the Church hear these conversations so that it doesn’t miss out on what God is doing to bring about the redemption of God’s creation.
